On Friday 21st march, Luckington preschool joined in with the national fundraising event Sports Relief to raise money for children less privileged than themselves. Wearing wooly jumpers and hats, and carrying a lucky jumping mascot, the children became woolly jumpers themselves. They were sponsored by family and friends to jump as many times as they could. With lots of encouragement from Mrs Trish and the other teachers and parents, the children managed a super one hundred jumps! (this was the official total, some were spotted enthusiastically jumping double time!)
Less energetic supporters could do their bit by drinking tea and eating cake to help the good cause! The preschool raised a whopping £197.10. Well done to the children for their jumping and to the adults for making the event such a success.
